ABSTRACT
Anxiety, Depression, Social
and Familiar Perceived Support, Self-esteem
and Learning Motivation among Arab Student
and Beginning Teachers
The
principal aim of this research is to examine
the socio-emotional differences between
student teachers with various levels of social
anxiety, depression, social and familiar
perceived support and self-esteem in Arab
student and beginning teachers sample. A total
of 534 participants were assessed at academic
college for teacher education by different
questionnaires. This research includes four
studies that explore differences: 1- In
depression, social and familiar perceived
support, self-esteem and learning motivation;
2- In social anxiety, depression, social and
familiar perceived support, self-esteem and
learning motivation; 3- In social anxiety,
social and familiar perceived support,
self-esteem and learning motivation; and 4- In
social anxiety, depression, self-esteem and
learning motivation among Arab student and
beginning teachers who shows various levels of
social anxiety, self-esteem, depression and
social and familiar perceived support,
respectively. The results are discussed
according to the consequences that leave these
socio-emotional indexes in the everyday life
of the participants.
