Modern
technologies of psychological support for
children with autism and cognitive impairment
Autism
Spectrum Disorders (ASD) are a group of
pervasive developmental disorders, the main
manifestations of which are the lack of
ability for productive social interaction,
impaired communication and stereotyped
behavior. With the generally recognized
practical and theoretical significance of
studying the mechanisms of ASD formation, the
problem of the socio-psychological adaptation
of children and adults with autism is still
little studied. The main task of the process
of education and support of children with ASD
is the development of their maximum social
inclusion in adulthood.
The purpose of the symposium is to analyze the
existing clinical and psychological research
and technologies of psychological support in
the field of autism and cognitive impairment
in childhood.
Psychological models of developmental
disorders in childhood, modern clinical and
psychological technologies for the
differential diagnosis of ASD and cognitive
impairment, effective technologies to
accompany children with ASD and cognitive
impairment and their families will present on
the symposium.
Will be provided recommendations to parents
how raising a child with mental disorders on
social and psychological resources to maintain
