Olesya Volkova obtained her
degree as Doctor of Psychology in the field of
Clinical Psychology in 2018. Now she is an
associate professor of Clinical Psychology and
Psychotherapy department at the Krasnoyarsk
State Medical University, Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
She has more than 80 papers published in reputed
Russian and international journals, book
chapters and 8 monographs. The scientific
interests concern the attempt of building the
research technology and system of psychological
help aimed at people demonstrating signs of the
learned helplessness in state of weakened
somatic help. One of the fundamental
methodological ideas is revealing differences
and similarities between Contemporary Positive
Psychology and Cultural-and-Historical Approach
developed in Russian Psychology on the spot of
Learned Helplessness and Somatic Health.

Contemporary
psychological technologies in the system of
help to people with different characteristics
of somatic and mental health
The
major aim of the symposium is to share
comprehensive theoretical and practical
experience of different contemporary
psychological technologies and approaches. The
methodological basis of the symposium concerns
the fundamental principles of building the
technologies in the system of psychological
support, the criteria for the technological
effectiveness of such systems, the spots of
collaborative activity of different helping
specialists: doctors, clinical psychologists.
The technological view on the psychological help
reveals the necessity of developing the
technology of psychological research aimed at
assessment of human life-world stability among
patients having different level of
rehabilitation potential. The problem of
rehabilitation potential is specified on the
sample of people diagnosed with spinal cervical
traumas. One of the directions of psychological
assistance is presented as the experience of
implementation of technology aimed at
compensation and correction of cognitive,
volitional, emotional difficulties among
children with development violations.
