Gualberto Buela-Casal, University
of Granada, graduated in Psychology from the
University of Santiago de Compostela and
obtained his Doctoral Degree in Psychology from
the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has
worked as a researcher at CIDE, Spanish Ministry
of Education and Science, and a professor at the
University of Málaga, University of Jaén and
University of California. He is currently the
Director of a research group at the University
of Granada. He has published more than 20 books
and more than 200 articles in scientific
journals, most of them indexed in the Journal
Citation Reports (JCR). He has directed 20
doctoral theses. He is the Director of a
Postgraduate Program with Quality Mention:
Research Designs and Applications in Psychology
and Health, which was awarded with the
International Award AUIP for the Quality of the
Doctorate. He is the current President of the
Spanish Association of Cognitive Behavioral
Psychology.
